Rise Up For Youth is a nonprofit that operates within Wichita Area High Schools to bring mentoring services directly to students. We operate through three key principles; 1) accept students exactly where they are. Skipping school, come on in! Honor roll, come on in! 2) expect commitment and growth within the program. We encourage our students to seek change for themselves. 3) provide resources. College tours, job referrals, academic assistance, a listening ear for home struggles, we are here for our students. Students that come into our program are excited to join and often see explosive personal development. They have it in them already, they just need someone to empower them to Rise Up!
